1. Who we are

VarshaKrishi Udhyog Private Limited is a company incorporated in India (CIN U01113UW2026PTC250001), recognised by DPIIT under Startup India (DIPP255998), GSTIN 27AALCV9669E1ZL. Registered office: T-03/706 Paras Seasons, Sector-168, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar 201301, Uttar Pradesh, India. We operate from Nagpur, Maharashtra.

2. Our services

• Watch: a free weekly WhatsApp message about a registered field, based on satellite images and weather data.
• Decide: crop-specific advice, such as irrigation timing with a time window, offered only for crops and regions where the crop model has been reviewed by an agronomist. Decide is available as a season pass bought by the farmer, or sponsored by a partner.
• Partner services: sponsored seasons for groups of farmers, a partner dashboard and a season report, under a written proposal or agreement.
• Research services: instrumented reference plots and data exports for institutions, under a written contract.

We do not manufacture or sell hardware. Where a research contract includes a reference kit, the kit is procured from a vendor and its terms are set out in that contract.

3. Using the service

• To receive messages you give your consent, a WhatsApp or phone number and your field's location. You must be entitled to share that field's location.
• You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and ask us to delete your details at any time. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and why.
• You agree not to misuse the service, the website or the messages, or to attempt to access other people's data.

4. Payments and refunds

• Prices for a Decide season pass are shown to you before you pay. Payments are taken through the payment link we send, or collected by an authorised field contact against a receipt.
• You can ask for a full refund of a season pass within 7 days of payment. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
• Sponsored seasons, partner services and research contracts are invoiced and refunded according to the proposal or contract signed for them.

5. Nature of the advice

• Our messages are estimates based on satellite, weather and crop data. Satellites cannot see through cloud, signals on small plots are approximate, and a message cannot see everything a person standing in the field can. Each message states its date and source, and our methods page lists the known limits.
• The Watch plan never recommends a dose, a product or an irrigation volume. For pesticides, fertilisers and other inputs, consult your KVK or a qualified agronomist.
• Decisions about your farm remain yours. We do not guarantee any yield, saving or financial outcome.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its content and the software behind the service belong to VarshaKrishi. You may share the messages you receive. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the service or the website's content without our written permission. Satellite data from the Copernicus and NASA programmes remains subject to their open-data terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including crop loss arising from decisions made on the basis of the advice.

8. The website

You agree not to use the website unlawfully or in a way that could damage or impair it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; for paid services, changes apply from the next season or contract.
